I get asked all the time when its time to plant. Well the best answer is it depends. The reason it depends is that each species of plant will germinate at different soil temperatures. Right now we are buying seed for planting both corn and sorghum. Corn needs 50 degree or higher consistent soil temperatures and sorghum needs 60.
